On B.M.O
If you have ever seen adventure time, you would know what or whom this post is about: BMO
BMO is one of the main characters in the very awesome and lore-intensive yet not-feeling-like-a-pain cartoon series (which I absolutely love).
But what's so special about BMO is his personality, his character traits shown in the series and one very extraordinary idiosyncrasy of his, which is his independence and being able to do things by himself,
despite of the circumstances, availability, capability, or how dangerous it could be,
never doubting it or himself,
the charm that he carries is astounding, hiding the fierce bravery and confidence of his behind his adorable face and his bubbly personality.
I suppose hiding is not the correct term, but alas.
The moment that this all hit me was this one particular scene from the show, In the scene, BMO, being a robot, had to change his batteries, and he could have easily, without any qualms, asked his friends. Finn and Jake to do it for him, but he did not. He set the batteries and himself up in such a way that when he takes them out, he will fall into the new ones. You can call this action reckless, but to me it felt like an action of self-reliance, of self-confidence, of 'I can do it, no problem.' that even if he did not have anyone else, he would be just fine in this case at least.
The crucial thing about this case is that he basically dies if he does anything wrong, but he doesn't, and with the flow that he does it and the confidence in his action, it says that he knows that he won't.
And I honestly admire that, because of how much I want to have that, that kind of confidence in my actions.
Basically all i had to say at the moment.
